Living in the Days of Noah Without Fear

I want to settle something for you before we go any further. The days of Noah are not the end of the world. They are the end of a day. There is a difference, and that difference is the line between fear and faith.

So many believers are walking around in a low grade panic right now. They are watching the news, hearing the rumors of war, listening to the rapture talk, and they have moved from a place of peace into a place of terror. Some of them have called me. They are afraid their husband will not go with them. They are afraid their children will not be ready. They are afraid that any minute the trumpet will sound and they will be left here on this earth that they have already begun to fear.

Secure in the Hand of God

Let me speak plainly. If you have been saved for any meaningful amount of time and you still do not believe your salvation is secure, you have been listening to the wrong voices. No one can pluck you out of the hand of God. You are sealed. You have the assurance of your inheritance, the Holy Ghost. There is no scenario where God forgets you. There is no scenario where you slip through the cracks. The days of Noah are not designed to terrify you. They are designed to mature you.

Look at what really happened in the days of Noah. Yes, the flood came. But before the flood came, Noah spent over a hundred years building an ark. For more than a century, he lived in an in between time. The old age was ending. The new age had not fully come. Heaven and earth were closer than they had ever been. The supernatural and the natural were on a collision course. And Noah did not get raptured out. He stayed on the earth. He simply transitioned from one age into another.

The Kingdom is Increasing

That is where we are right now. We are in the in between. We are running side by side with the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. Just like Saul and David ran together for a season before the throne fully changed hands, the present order and the next order are sharing space. Yes, the religious system and the carnal mind will try to kill the next move of God. They always do. They never succeed. They never have. The kingdom of darkness is decreasing. The kingdom of light is increasing. That is the trajectory. That is the promise. That is the only direction this thing is going.

Here is what I want you to internalize. When the church preaches that the world is getting worse and worse, what we are actually saying is that our eyes are getting more open. The world has always been this way. The thought and intent of every man’s heart was evil in the days of Noah, and that was thousands of years ago. The difference between then and now is not that evil grew. The difference is that you are awake.

Under Construction, Not Under Attack

Your discernment is increasing. Your ears are unstopped. Your mind is being renewed, which is the only path to transformation the Bible ever offered us. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. We are reclaiming the original mind we were given in the garden, the mind of Christ. That reclamation is what makes the present age feel so heavy. You are not under attack. You are under construction.

So what do we do with this in between time? We refuse to live as survivalists. You are not on this earth to bunker down and white knuckle your way through. You are not stockpiling dry food in a tunnel waiting for the trumpet. You are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. You are already seated with Christ in heavenly places, and that is the position you pray from. Your citizenship is in heaven, even while your feet are on this ground.

And when the Spirit shows you what He is going to show you in this season, hold it well. You will see countenances change. You will sense things in rooms. You will know things you have no natural way of knowing. That is not paranoia. That is the gift of discernment doing exactly what it was designed to do. Hold it privately. Pray over it intentionally. Steward it carefully. Some of what God shows you is not for sharing. It is for interceding.

A Season for Maturity

This is not the season for fear. This is the season for sons of God to grow up, leaders to step forward, and discerners to bless the people God places in their path. The days of Noah have always been the season when an old order ended and a new one began. The flood is not the story. The transition is the story. And you are the one He chose to live through it.
